Missing Models from Model Picker, but actually just not yet signed in. #282845
Description
A user reported that they did not have any models to pick from despite having an account:
After troubleshooting, it turned out that they hadn't signed into copilot yet.
Consider adding some verbiage/button in the Model Picker dropdown itself:
If the user is not signed in, add a link "Sign in to choose from more Models…"
Currently, it's not obvious (1) why there are not more models in the picker and (2) your current sign in/out state (since that's located in other parts of VS Code).
